Jacqueline Rose is a poet with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. Her prose encourages readers to educate themselves to improve their lives and opportunities, stay strong, and recognize the rewards of authenticity. Rose’s work weaves global awareness and cultural inclusivity into family-centered narratives, fostering intergenerational dialogue grounded in oral traditions and lived experience.
She continually expands her craft, deepens her creative practice, and refines her writing skills. Recent activities for Rose include Season 22 of the Writer to Writer program with the Association of Writers & Writing Programs and the 2026 Scribente Maternum Writing Retreat.
Rose has been married for 35+ years and is the mother of two wonderful daughters. After a career in academia and public relations, Rose is fulfilling a lifelong dream: writing poetry and creative nonfiction while creating artistic photography.
“I hope to embody the hope, resilience, and integrity reflected in more than 35 years of marriage and community advocacy, offering encouragement to my daughters, former students, and anyone who dares to embrace the word
“try” in pursuit of their goals.”
